Dyslexia Sparks is Hull and East Yorkshire’s only registered charity for dyslexia. As a registered charity they provide funding to eligible households in Hull and East Yorkshire to help with the cost of diagnostic dyslexia assessments and specialist tuition. They help families of dyslexic individuals through free advice, events and a free monthly parent support group.

The Integrated Specialist Public Health Nursing Service (ISPHNS) 0-19 (25) delivers the Healthy Child Programme (HCP)  ‘Pregnancy and the first five years of life’ and ‘From 5-19 years old’

The link below leads to the Humber Sensory Processing Service, there is some great advice on how to support children who have sensory processing difficulties such as ideas to support healthy sleep routines. Before a referral can be made the advice and strategies outlined on the website must have been implemented for a minimum of three months. 

Barnardo’s Bumble B’s run inclusive SEND youth groups throughout the East Riding.

Groups take place on Saturdays and also on weekdays during the school holidays, in Beverley, Cottingham, Bridlington, Goole, Hedon and Market Weighton.
